Nimrod Headington Journal, 1852, part 10

Joe and I continue to shelter at home, as are many others. Today is Good Friday and this will be the first time ever that I have not attended Holy Week and Easter services. But through modern technology we are able to see our vicar give a sermon on Facebook and listen to a local service on the radio.

Today I am taking a break from Nimrod Headington’s accounts of his voyage from New York to San Francisco in 1852.

The past couple weeks have been trying times for all, as we are all asked to do our part and stay at home to help stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Joe and I are doing fine here.
