Today, more class photos of the Willshire High School Class of 1947. These class photos are from their high school years, 1943-1947. The class was larger during their early high school years, but twelve graduated in 1947. My mom, Florence (Schumm) Miller was a member of that Willshire High School graduating class of 1947. I do appreciate that she labeled these photos.

So glad you enjoy seeing the photos. I, too, love these old photos, with so many names I recognize. I am so glad my mom labeled most of them. Thanks for writing!
Hi Karen, I enjoyed this picture and realized that I had a cousin, Ray Hamrick in there. I recognized a young lady in there and thought, do I know her? Lined up the names and sure enough, it was your mother! I used to visit her with my Dad when we went to the elevator to drop off grain. I would sit in the waiting area while she wrote up a receipt to give to my dad. I always thought she was the smartest lady to keep all of those books! Thank you for posting! Bruce A. Hamrick

Great to hear from you, Bruce, and of your connection to Ray Hamrick. I think many area farmers remember my mom, the bookkeeper at Willshire Grain & Supply. She did a good job taking care of those books and always made sure that everything added up. Thanks for writing!
